Florence Bejian, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.
Dr. Bejian is licensed in Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association. She specializes in contact lens fits of all types, such as soft, gas-permeable, and bifocals. Dr. Bejian has been practicing in the town of Chelmsford since 1982.
While she enjoys connecting with her patients, developing lasting professional relationships, and being involved in their overall health and well-being, Dr. Bejian strives to deliver the best eye care possible, which is very rewarding.
When Dr. Bejian is not treating patients, she likes exploring the National Parks and being outdoors. She enjoys being active, skiing, hiking, and biking. Dr. Bejian also spends time with her family and friends. She volunteers her time helping others and participates in numerous philanthropic and humanitarian organizations to help the community locally and worldwide.
Suraj Afshar, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. He studied pre-medicine at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
After a great childhood experience with his family optometrist, Dr. Afshar knew what career he wanted to pursue. In his own words, Dr. Afshar says, “I am grateful and enjoy being an optometrist because it provides the opportunity to give my patients the best vision possible while I learn more about their lives and families.”
In his professional career, Dr. Afshar has worked in corporate, private, and surgical optometry settings. His decade of experience includes ocular disease, complex contact lens fittings, dry eye, and general family vision care. He also specializes in Ortho-Keratology, allowing patients to be glasses and contact lenses free during the day while enjoying perfect vision. He is happy to accept new patients and has his therapeutic pharmaceutical agent (TPA) license to treat eye disease, infection, and injury.
When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Afshar likes spending time with his family and enjoys sports and outdoor activities.
